Firstly, I seriously doubt that i will be a salesperson because, i don't think i got the passion to serve people.

Secondly, this type salesperson really scares me especially those with very heavy makeup. There was a time where i was with my mum shopping for auntie clothes then i was just flipping through the clothes aimlessly where this lady asked me whether i need help. I look up and saw huge eyes framed with electric blue eye shadow. I went "holy shit" in my heart. On closer inspection, i saw big red patches of pink blush and tarantula eyelashes. Just one word: SCARY!

Thirdly, those really sticky salesperson really puts me off. I cannot shop in peace. Those smile they give practically screams "DO NOT TOUCH THAT!!!!!" OR "BUY SOMETHING!!!!!!!" Unless those customers who have exceptionally high tolerance for this kind of service, others, like me, cannot take it at all. All i want at that moment is to get out of that place IMMEDIATELY.

Lastly, as to which whether i will be a good salesperson. Who knows?!?! Do you? Well i don't. But since i mention those traits i i dislike, i would at least try not to be one of them.

So having said all that, my ideal vision of a salesperson is.
1. Minimal makeup. Just be natural. Nude is the way to go!
2. Smile and greet the customers when they walk in.
3. Maintain a healthy distance from the customers, maybe around 4 person away.
4. Always be on a constant look out for customers wanting assistance.
5. But not stare at them the moment, they walk in.
6. Always keep in mind that there will always be a portion of customers that only want to windows shop. So you should not over-advertise to this type of people. Though it will be hard to differentiate.
7. Do not hover around customers, and keep pointing out things like
: This just came in yesterday.
: This is available in 3 colours.
: This is a dress.( I swear this is the dumbest thing ever. Yes, we can see!)
All this (except the last one) should be said after the customer pick out a particular item.

Well..above are MY opinion, maybe other people like it otherwise.

P.s i am not those who are likely to suffer in silence.
