HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!!!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!

I feel for our same age counterparts who chose that poly route and have to pay adult fares. But seriously, all they can do is just to deal with it. This issue surfaces EVERY YEAR, but bus companies just do not bother to change their policy, so practically nothing could be done. This is a opportunity cost for choosing the poly route, Besides, I'm sure almost everyone going to poly is aware of the high bus fares. So why complain when you know its going to happen? Its not as if you were suddenly caught in this situation. Everyone has their opinion and this is mine. Anyways, i hope you guys get the solution you want, but in the mean time, deal with it. Or send more emails to the bus companies/straits times/new paper/stomp etc

Omg. Orientation was so tiring. Disco night was super fun as i get to dance around as if I'm at the pub. Thankfully, we don't have to perform the mass dance which I'm so dreading simply because i don't know how to dance. People look at me and ask if I'm really a dancer=.= So, yes! I'm a dancer!!! Waltz was frigging simple so i cruises through it.

Yancey(my tribe) won the best tribe and i was totally dumbfounded( in a good way) that we actually won as we have been the last for the pass 3 days. Lessons started yesterday and i got 2 of the most boring subjects in my combination-GP and econs. Thankfully, lessons with classes only starts after CNY so i could still slack for awhile.

I have no idea why is my bag so heavy but it breaking my back and i ain't liking it):

Friday, January 29, 2010 ; 12:13 PM ♥

I know i have not been seriously posting for quite a while now. I think my last serious post was like 7Jan when i went for poly open houses. SO i guess I'm going to try to update my blog before i go into seclusion after orientation ends.

Anyways, SO much things had happen over the past few days. I was literally caught in between 2 schools. I'm going to be very transparent about this and i meant no offence/harsh feeling/insults to anyone or anything.

Ok, i have been posted to IJC which is expected since i put it as a second choice and my first choice being NYJC. So since i did not get posted to NYJC, naturally the school i'm posted to is IJC. However, i went for audition/appeal through dance for NYJC(before posting results is released) and i got accepted! So i went over to NYJC to collect my "transfer" form to be signed by IJ principal. That's when problems started to arise.

I went over to IJ yesterday, thinking that i could just hand the form over to the principal, get it signed and then make my way to NY. However i was seriously wrong about it. First, i went up to the counter in the General Office to settle my appeal case. However i was rudely shocked when the HOD of science told me i have to wait for 3 hours since i am appealing out of IJ. At first i shook it off as a joke. But thinking back, i still feel that, that is a really mean thing to say. Luckily, i do not have to wait for 3 hours and i went into the P office soon after my brief exchange with the HOD of science. There came a second shock of the day. She would insist that i am not being accepted by NY. I was so confused. I just got the form signed by the VP of NY( i do not know at that point in time) and now she is telling me that i have not accepted. I was started to get pissed. However, i know very well not the get angry or too agitated at the her(being the P and my senior). Furthermore i was still confused over what had just happen. She then welcome me to IJ ,though very warmly, i hated the sound if it. I then join the orientation half heatedly because i was still pondering over what she had just told me.

Jonathan momentarily broke my train of thoughts when he said "HI"to me. I returned his greeting half heatedly. Sorry): My train of thought were once again broken when the assembly started. Then J1(us) move up to the hall for subject combination talks( BORING!!) i wasn't really listening to all the talk as i was still deep in thinking over all the things she said. As time flies i was getting more worried and wanted to call up NY really badly to clarify things.

Finally when the talks ended, i called up NY immediately to sort things out. Then, i was told that i indeed had been accepted by NY and there should be no problem. She assured me that she would check with the principal and get back to me asap. However, the principal was not at his desk so i have to play the frustrating waiting game. But i was told to bring this matter up to the P after 2pm.

So at around 2pm, i called up NY for advice (and further confirm that i have been accepted by NY)and i went ahead with the "confrontation" with the P(innova) again. However, she still claims that she is not aware of my acceptance by NY as she said she just had a meeting with the P of NY the day before and he(NY-P) did not mention anything about my acceptance. At that point in time, the atmosphere had gotten really tense and i was really close to shouting but i bit back my tongue.( I've got excellent self control) so i further reason things out with her. But no matter how much i explain( all the i-am-very-sure-that-i-have-been-accepted-into-NY-thing) she just would not budge. And as my form was signed by the VP, she insist that she will only consider if it was signed by the P himself.

However, she did not reply me when i asked her would i be released so long as my form is signed by the P. So i told her that i would go over to NY and clarify thing and also at the same time, get him to sign on my paper. So i made my way over to NY. Over at NY i met up with the P face-to-face and double check, triple check that i indeed had been accepted by NY. He even sent and email to IJ P in an attempt to clear any misunderstanding there might be. So with that, i went home(Thanks feli for waiting so patiently!!)

Couldn't really sleep that night even though i am both mentally and physically tired.

Woke up feeling terribly cold and feverish(I got flu leh!) Made my way to IJ hoping that it would be the last time i set my foot into that school(at least for my appeal case). Went into the P office soon after we step foot in the General Office. The procedure was surprisingly a breeze as she agreed to sign my form with very few question asked[(must be the email NY-P sent)(I had to remind her to check her email=.=)] So i made my way to NY with the very important reply slips in my bag. The moment i stepped into the GO at NY i was so delighted by the greeting i received. Contrary to the one i heard the day before. Though i was not allowed to join my future school mates at sentosa but i am glad that i gave that a miss as i was really worn out after all those things.

So i would like to thank the Principal and Vice-Principal of NY for understanding my case and doing their best to solve it.
I also want to thank the teacher who helped my ALOT for my appeal.
Last but not the least, i would like to thank the Principal of IJ for letting me go.

P.S To those out there who feel ousted since you did not get into NY even though you met the cutoff points or at least have a better results then me but still did not manage to get in and those who feel that i should not be given this chance. I would just like to say that i worked really hard to get a place in NY. I practised really hard to nailed the audition. I needed to be brave too to turn up for audition. The whole process was really nerve breaking and i really wanted to give up halfway. But thanks to feli who continually encourage me to go for it( i bet she is only eyeing for free transport that comes with the "purchase"of me) Also need to thanks MH for accompanying me through out the "confrontation" though she have to. LOLS. So dealed with it. I deserved what i got and i am very proud to say that I AM A NANYANG JC STUDENT(because i work my butt off for it)

P.S.S This is like one of my longest post(;

I think i am going to quit on blogging. I remember i used to scoff at people who does not update their blog regularly. LOLS. Now i know why some people just don't update their blog regularly. Usually it is that they do not have anything to say, but some of the time, they are probably just lazy to tell the world what they did through out the day. I mean its OK once in a while to update your readers what you just did, but when one keeps updating his/her life, it become a chore and its boring. Something like twitter. Something about telling the world they are drinking chocolate milkshakes really intrigued them but not me. So I'm done with telling people where i went today and what i did. I doubt they are genuinely interested anyways. Most of the time, for me, i read blog when i realised i have nothing to do. Not very interested most of the time. Though there are some post i never get sick of reading-those from Charmaine. Her English is just "WOW". Thy way she describe people and things makes me feel that i am right beside her when she witness it. However if she update every second of her life on her blog, i think i going to give her blog a miss and visit it when i again realised i have nothing to do. So. I shall make this official. Ahem...

I AM NOT GOING TO POST REGULARLY. I WILL ONLY POST WHEN I FEEL LIKE IT. I HATE READING POINTLESS BLOG POSTS ABOUT PEOPLE BORING LIFE. GET A LIFE PEOPLE. I LIKE PHOTO POST THOUGH, THE MORE THE BETTER=D AT LEAST IT DOES NOT STRAIN MY BRAIN CELLS TO READ THROUGH ENGLISH AND LOTS OF THE TIME-SINGLISH.

P.S I especially hate those post the excessive singlish which turns out like this : u noe hor, 2dae i go shopping n i saw mary. she veri chio liao leis!! sum more she got bf her bf veri shuai oso.
P.S Those with excessive vulgarity, i would gladly give it a miss too.

Why can't i upload any photos?? ):
Second day of OC was fun-er partially due to our alumni performance put up at the last minute. Campfire was same o' same. Cliche-ness was the same too. Songs and cheer and performance put up by various classes. I was always very worried when the class does not seems to have anything to put up or everyone could not come to terms with a certain idea. However, all classes were still able to put up a satisfactory performance. Great job! The most important point is, alumni totally rock!! If i'm not wrong, it has been at least about 8 month since i have dance. So i am suffering from muscle ache all over my body:(

Friday, January 8, 2010 ; 8:46 PM ♥

Reach school to find everyone waiting for me. Thanks! I'm so honoured!! I wasn't THAT late...

OC was tiring, sunny, and not very interesting(Paiseh lar...i got high standards mah...). I like the feeling of having not to do everything like sitting down next to the Sec1, following them wherever they go. I can just MIA whenever i feel like it(:

OMG. Poly outing was fun fun fun!!!

Woke up at 9.45am when i am suppose to meet feli at 10.50am. HOWEVER, i was not late!!!! Because, a queen is never late, everyone else is just early(: Anyway, went to SP first. Itinerary: Get candy floss, get goodie bag(MH and Audrey getting it for the SECOND time. MH even borrow my spectacles to come up with a new image=.=), visited some booths then bid SP goodbye to go to our next destination-NP. Time to get more goodie bags!!((:

NP-arguably the fun-est open house. I played five sports back to back. Archery,Netball(DAMN!! I swear those poles must be at least 3 metres high!!!!), Soccer(got ZERO at this station-.-), Dragon boating and Frisbee. I got hidden talent at archery!!! Don't play play!! Anger me and I'll aim an arrow at your back!!(:

Archery- I'm the female version of robin hoods!!(Does he shoot well?!?)Actually Audrey was better(:

Soccer- A total failure:( Couldn't channel Fernando Torres no matter how hard i try...

Netball- Could have been better. But hey! I score the only point for the team(: Wish Yihui was there.

Dragon boating- Only get 1 frigging point after busting my arms to row the "boat". I got biceps now!! Anyway the most important point is that i won MH and Audrey at the 150m race(:

Frisbee- I can't believe that there is a CCA for this. MH is the point getter for this part of the challenge. Feli and i only got 1 point each): and MH roping in 20 points single-handedly.(MH, you reading this??)

Moved on to a memorising game. Audrey was wonderful!! She totally save our butts as she could easily match all the different types of ropes.(Being in NPCC helps alot!!) So we only got 2 mistakes from that challenge. Great jobs guys!!

Climb a hill to get what we are there for- Goodie bags!(:

Head to our next destination to collect our goodie bags. Audrey left for BBQ. So the three musketeers venture on their treacherous journey.

NYP- Least stuffs in goodie bags): but the goodie bag was a sling bag. Tour around the school abit as we are already dead tired from walking around the whole day. Almost got force into a guided tour when all we really want is to collect the stamp so that we could participate in the sure-win lucky draw. If I'm not wrong, feli got a tube of toothpaste, MH got a packet of tissue(LOLS!!!) and i got a computer mouse(^^) However since MH said that she needed the mouse i gladly hand over my winning to her. See I'm a nice friend!! So after a round of exchanging prizes, I got the toothpaste, feli got the tissue(LOLS!!!) and MH got the PC mouse.

Headed to J8 to have our lunch-dinner at Cafe Cartel. My dish was not as nice as i thought it would be. I would prefer it to have less cream and more cheese(Actually there does not seems to have any hints of cheese in my dish.)

Lazy post photos. Blogger currently having problems with the picture uploader. Got to sleep now so that i can wake up on time tomorrow. But in any case, I won't be late, because everyone else is just early(:
